So far, in addition to halogen atoms, other non-metallic atoms can become part of the aromatic heterocycle, and the target ring system is still aromatic.Weber, Jerry B.; Best, J. A. researched the compound: 2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-ol( cas:1970-40-7 ).COA of Formula: C5H2Cl3NO.They published the article 《Activity and movement of 13 soil-applied herbicides as influenced by soil reaction》 about this compound( cas:1970-40-7 ) in Proceedings, Southern Weed Science Society. Keywords: herbicide soil acidity mobility; persistence herbicide soil. We’ll tell you more about this compound (cas:1970-40-7).

Broadleaf weeds were more prevalent in neutral soil (pH 7), than they were on acid soil (pH 5). The inverse was true for grass. The activities of 13 herbicides against broadleaf weeds on neutral soil were in the decreasing order: Dicamba [1918-00-9], bromacil [314-40-9], pyriclor [1970-40-7], NC 4780 [13577-71-4], fenuron [101-42-8], dichlobenil [1194-65-6], fluometuron [2164-17-2], prometryne [7287-19-6], chloramben [133-90-4], propachlor [1918-16-7], CDAA [93-71-0], chlorpropham [101-21-3], and paraquat [4685-14-7]. For grass, the activity was in the decreasing order: bromacil, pyriclor, NC 4780, dicamba, chloramben, fenuron, propachlor, fluometuron, CDAA, prometryne, chlorpropham, dichlobenil, and paraquat. Only prometryne and paraquat were soil pH-dependent, both compounds being more active on neutral soil than on acid ones. The relative mobilities of the herbicides were measured by their movements over the soil surface into adjacent control areas. Bromacil, pyriclor and NC 4780 were very mobile; fenuron, dichlobenil, propachlor, dicamba, chloramben, and fluometuron were of intermediate mobility; and chlorpropham, prometryne, CDAA and paraquat were immobile. The most persistent herbicides were bromacil, pyriclor, and NC 4780.

《New directions in weed control research for tropical rice》 provides a strategy for the preparation of materials with excellent comprehensive properties, which is conducive to broaden the application field of this compound(2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-ol)Quality Control of 2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-ol.

In general, if the atoms that make up the ring contain heteroatoms, such rings become heterocycles, and organic compounds containing heterocycles are called heterocyclic compounds. An article called New directions in weed control research for tropical rice, published in 1968, which mentions a compound: 1970-40-7, Name is 2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-ol, Molecular C5H2Cl3NO, Quality Control of 2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-ol.

The use of phenoxyacetic acid herbicides with selective grass herbicides is efficient and less costly than earlier recommended methods. Granular formulations which are easy to apply to transplanted rice are available. Combinations recommended are EPTC-MCPA, trifluralin-MCPA, and nitrofen, propachlor, and pyriclor with either 2,4-D or MCPA. Techniques using paraquat, pyriclor, and a few other chems. have reduced tillage, and occasionally made zero tillage feasible. In the absence of perennial grasses and excessive accumulation of plant material, use of herbicides can make direct seeding of rice possible.

Different reactions of this compound(2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-ol)Product Details of 1970-40-7 require different conditions, so the reaction conditions are very important.

In general, if the atoms that make up the ring contain heteroatoms, such rings become heterocycles, and organic compounds containing heterocycles are called heterocyclic compounds. An article called Chemical control of reed canary grass on irrigation canals, published in 1968, which mentions a compound: 1970-40-7, Name is 2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-ol, Molecular C5H2Cl3NO, Product Details of 1970-40-7.

From 1962 to 1967, herbicides were evaluated for control of natural infestations of reed canary grass (Phalaris arundinacea) on canal banks of the Huntley, Montana, irrigation project. 2,2-Dichloropropionic acid (dalapon) and 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole ammonium thiocyanate (amitrole-T) controlled reed canary grass. These herbicides were compared with a number of others. Spring foliage treatments with a combination of amitrole-T at 2 lb./acre and dalapon or trichloroacetic acid (TCA) at 5 or 10 lb./acre were more effective than amitrole-T at 4 lb./acre. Amitrole-T was more tolerant to fine grasses such as Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis) or redtop (Agrostis alba) than dalapon and in some situations it was more desirable than dalapon. Dalapon and TCA were more effective as late fall or early winter treatments to control reed canary grass during the following growing season. Rates of 20 or 40 lb./acre controlled the grass for one season even at the water’s edge where it is usually more persistent. At 5 to 10 lb./acre, 2,3,5-trichloro-4-pyridinol (pyriclor) controlled reed canary grass, and it also was effective at 2 lb./acre with 2 lb./acre of amitrole-T.

Different reactions of this compound(2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-ol)Product Details of 1970-40-7 require different conditions, so the reaction conditions are very important.

The reaction of an aromatic heterocycle with a proton is called a protonation. One of articles about this theory is 《Chemical and biological properties of 2,3,5-trichloro-4-pyri- dinol》. Authors are Huraux, M. J.; Lawson, H. M..The article about the compound:2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-olcas:1970-40-7,SMILESS:OC1=C(Cl)C(Cl)=NC=C1Cl).Reference of 2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-ol. Through the article, more information about this compound (cas:1970-40-7) is conveyed.

2,3,5-Trichloro-4-pyridinol is a white solid with m.p. 216°. Its solubility in water is 0.057, in acetone 4, benzene 0.071, EtOH (95%) 4.21, xylene 0.3, and NaOH (1%) 5.35 g./100 g, at 23°. Its vapor pressure at 26° is 5.5 × 10-6mm. Hg, and its oral L.D.50 to rats is 80 mg./kg. The material is practically a non-irritant. It is readily taken up by both roots and foliage and translocated. The moderately long residual effect and activity against both annual and perennial grasses and seedlings of most broad-leaved species makes 2,3,5-trichloro-4-pyridinol (2.5-30 lb.) very suitable for total control of vegetation. Rates of <2 lb. applied in agricultural situations show little or no carry-over after 1 year. In logarithmic trials in Michigan, a rate of 6 lb. in mid-May (or in early July after mowing and removing the clip-pings) completely killed established Dactylis glomerata and Bromus inermis which were growing vigorously. Four lb. killed Agropyron repens. In Pennsylvania, rates of 10 lb. + picloram at 1 lb. applied as foliar sprays in early June provided excellent control of grasses and broadleaved weeds for up to 1 year. Even lower rates were effective against Cirsium arvense and other broad-leaved perennials, grasses on a railway embankment in England in May, and at an industrial site in July. In addition to these non-crop situations, 2,3,5-trichloro-4-pyridinol at 0.75-1 lb. pre-emergence and as post-emergence directed sprays at 0.5-2 lb. shows promise in sugar cane. When used in conjunction with a defoliant, it is also an outstanding inhibitor of cotton regrowth. After consulting a lot of data, we found that this compound(1970-40-7)Reference of 2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-ol can be used in many types of reactions. After consulting a lot of data, we found that this compound(1970-40-7)COA of Formula: C5H2Cl3NO can be used in many types of reactions. And in most cases, this compound has more advantages.

COA of Formula: C5H2Cl3NO. Aromatic heterocyclic compounds can also be classified according to the number of heteroatoms contained in the heterocycle: single heteroatom, two heteroatoms, three heteroatoms and four heteroatoms. Compound: 2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-ol, is researched, Molecular C5H2Cl3NO, CAS is 1970-40-7, about Performance of several herbicides for weed control in peanuts. Author is Buchanan, Gale A.; Dickens, Ray; Burns, Earl R.; McCormick, Robert M..

Experiments were conducted on Dotahn fine sandy loam in Ala. Preplant incorporated herbicides were blank planted, and preplant herbicides applied, then Early Runner peanuts were planted. Stands were not reduced and yield was not usually affected. 4-(Methylsulfonyl)-2,6-dinitro-N,N-dipropyl-aniline (nitralin), 2-chloro-2′,6′-diethyl-N-(methoxymethyl)-acetanilide (CP 50144), methyl-2,3,5,6-tetrachloro-N-methyltere-phthalamate (OCS 21693), and UC 22463 (80% 3,4-dichlorobenzyl-N-methyl carbamate + 20% 2,3-dichlorobenzyl-N-methyl carbamate) consistently controlled crabgrass (Digitaria sanguinalis), goosegrass (Eleusine indica), and crowfootgrass (Dactyloctenium aegyptium). These herbicides gave poor control of Florida beggarweed (Desmodium tortuosum), sicklepod (Cassia obtusifolia), and tall morning glory (Ipomoea purpurea). Pyriclor (2,3,5-trichloro-4-pyridinol) gave excellent full season grass and broadleaf weed control at rates as low as 0.4 lb/acre; 2.0 lb/acre or more usually caused substantial injury to peanuts. Delaying application of pyriclor resulted in greater chlorosis in peanuts. Pyriclor applied in combination with nitralin, benefin (N-butyl-N-ethyl-α,α,α-trifluoro-2,6-dinitro-p-toluidine), or vernolate (S-propyl dipropylthiocarbamate) gave better weed control than either of these herbicides alone, but was no better than pyriclor alone. The major effect of incorporation of pyriclor appeared to be dilution OCS 21799 (2-(4-chloro-o-tolyl)oxy-N-methoxyacetamide) applied at 0.5-4.0 lb/acre gave good early season control of grasses and broadleaf weeds, but did not give long season control.

After consulting a lot of data, we found that this compound(1970-40-7)COA of Formula: C5H2Cl3NO can be used in many types of reactions. And in most cases, this compound has more advantages.
