Related Products of 4721-98-6, Chemistry is the science of change. But why do chemical reactions take place? Why do chemicals react with each other? The answer is in thermodynamics and kinetics. In a document type is Article, and a compound is mentioned, 4721-98-6, 6,7-Dimethoxy-1-methyl-3,4-dihydroisoquinoline, introducing its new discovery.
Asymmetric reductions of imines using NADH models
Prochiral imines are reduced by 3,5-dicarboethoxy-1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethylpyridine (Hantzsch ester) in the presence of alpha-amino acid hydrochlorides, camphor sulfonic acid, abeitic acid, and tartaric acid, to give amines with varying degrees of enantiomeric excess.Best results are obtained with alpha-amino acids with side chain carrying a group capable of H-bond formation. This method has been employed to prepare isoquinoline alkaloids with up to 65percent enantiomeric excess.
Balanced chemical reaction does not necessarily reveal either the individual elementary reactions by which a reaction occurs or its rate law.Related Products of 4721-98-6. In my other articles, you can also check out more blogs about 4721-98-6
