Exciting effects of some basic dyes on smooth muscle was written by Klingenberg, H. G.;Lipp, W.. And the article was included in Experimental Cell Research, Supplement in 1959.Application of 316-41-6 This article mentions the following:
Addition of 5-10 × 10-5 moles/l. toluidine blue, safranine, pyronine B, rhodamine B, Acridine Orange, trypaflavine, coriphosphine, colchicine, or berberine sulfate to a Tyrode bath at 37° and pH 7.3 produces an exciting effect on guinea pig uterus after a latent period of 3-30 min. During the latent period, the surface of the organs was intensely stained by all these dyes. The observed phenomena were not abolished or suppressed by atropine or cocaine. In the experiment, the researchers used many compounds, for example, 9,10-Dimethoxy-5,6-dihydro-[1,3]dioxolo[4,5-g]isoquinolino[3,2-a]isoquinolin-7-ium sulfate(2:1) (cas: 316-41-6Application of 316-41-6).
9,10-Dimethoxy-5,6-dihydro-[1,3]dioxolo[4,5-g]isoquinolino[3,2-a]isoquinolin-7-ium sulfate(2:1) (cas: 316-41-6) belongs to isoquinoline derivatives. Quinoline is a mancude organic heterobicyclic parent, an azaarene, an ortho-fused heteroarene and a member of isoquinolines. Isoquinoline-type alkaloids show biological activities similar to those of morphinane-, protoberberine-, and benzophenanthridine-type alkaloids.Application of 316-41-6
