The reaction was allowed to warm to ambient temperature and stirred for 2.5 h before pouring onto ice. The precipitate collected by filtration and dried in vacuo to yield 770 mg of 4C (770 mg, 55% yield) as white solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CD3OD) delta ppm 2.81 (t, J=6.59 Hz, 2 H) 3.42 (t J=6.52 Hz, 2 H) 6.84 (dd, J=8.13, 2.42 Hz, 1 H) 7.02 (d, J=7.91 Hz, 1 H) 7.26 (d, J=2.64 Hz, 1 H).
