A variety of novel alpha-(hetero)aryl-alpha-fluoroketones and monofluoroalkylated N-heteroarenes were obtained in moderate to good yields. Notable advantages of this protocol include a low catalyst loading, easily prepared monofluoroalkyl reagents and wide substrate scope.
