Hua, Jia; Gao, Lu; Li, Baiyan published the article 《Bis(4-amino-3,5-di-2-pyridyl-1,2,4-triazole-κ2N1,N5)diaquazinc(II) dinitrate》. Keywords: crystal structure zinc aminodipyridyltriazole aqua complex dinitrate; mol structure zinc aminodipyridyltriazole aqua complex nitrate; hydrogen bond zinc aminodipyridyltriazole aqua complex dinitrate; pyridyltriazole aminodi zinc aqua complex dinitrate; triazole aminodipyridyl zinc aqua complex dinitrate. They researched the compound: 3,5-Di(pyridin-2-yl)-4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-amine( cas:1671-88-1 ).HPLC of Formula: 1671-88-1. Aromatic heterocyclic compounds can be divided into two categories: single heterocyclic and fused heterocyclic. In addition, there is a lot of other information about this compound (cas:1671-88-1) here.

The asym. unit of bis(4-amino-3,5-di-2-pyridyl-1,2,4-triazole-κ2N1,N5)diaquazinc(2+) dinitrate, [Zn(C12H10N6)2(H2O)2](NO3)2, contains 1/2 of the complex mol. and 1 NO3-. The ZnII ion displays a distorted tetragonal-pyramidal geometry with 4 N atoms from 2 chelating 4-amino-3,5-di-2-pyridyl-1,2,4-triazole (2-bpt) ligands in the basal plane and 1 H2O mol. occupying the apical site. Another H2O mol. at the opposite of the apical site has a weak interaction with the ZnII ion [Zn-O = 2.852(5) Å]. The ZnII ion and the 2 H2O mols. lie on a 2-fold rotation axis. An extensive system of H bonds involving the NH2 groups of the 2-bpt ligands, H2O mols. and nitrate anions links all residues into a 3-dimensional network. Crystallog. data are given.
