To (1 f?,2f?)-2-(4-((benzyloxy)carbonyl)phenyl)cyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid (E114) in pyridine was added EDC, DMAP and 6-aminoisoquinoline and the solution was stirred under N2 overnight. The mixture was poured into NaHC03 and extracted with EtOAc, dried (Na2S04), filtered and evaporated. Column chromatography over silica gel eluting with 5-8percent MeOH- CH2CI2 gave pure benzyl 4-((1f?,2f?)-2-(isoquinolin-6-ylcarbamoyl)cyclopropyl)benzoate (E115).
