Pei, Xiaocong published the artcileSterically controlled C-H/C-H homocoupling of arenes via C-H borylation, Category: isoquinoline, the main research area is biaryl preparation regioselective; arene borylation homocoupling iridium copper catalyst.
A mild one-pot protocol for the synthesis of biaryls R-R [R = 3-chloro-5-methylphenyl, 3-bromo-2-fluoro-5-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl, naphth-2-yl, etc.] by sequential Ir-catalyzed C-H borylation and Cu-catalyzed homocoupling of arenes RH has been described. The regiochem. of the biaryls is sterically controlled as dictated by the C-H borylation step. The methodol. is also successfully extended to heteroarenes R1H (R1 = benzofuran-2-yl, 2-methylthiophen-5-yl, 3-chloropyridin-5-yl, etc.). Some of the products obtained by this approach are impossible to obtain via Ullmann or Suzuki coupling protocols. Finally, one-pot sequence describing C-H borylation/Cu-catalyzed homocoupling/Pd-catalyzed Suzuki coupling to obtain π-extended arene framework has been reported.
Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry published new progress about Aromatic hydrocarbons Role: RCT (Reactant), RACT (Reactant or Reagent). 151-10-0 belongs to class isoquinoline, name is 1,3-Dimethoxybenzene, and the molecular formula is C8H10O2, Category: isoquinoline.
