Jureddi, Santhosh Kumar published the artcileSustainable Cs2O/ZrO2 oxide catalyst for the synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine analogues, Category: isoquinoline, the main research area is zirconia supported cesium oxide nanocatalyst preparation thermal stability; malononitrile acetylene dicarboxylate dimethylaniline benzaldehyde heterogeneous catalyst multicomponent reaction; amino cyano diphenyl dihydropyridine dicarboxylate preparation green chem.
Cesium oxide loaded on zirconia (Cs2O/ZrO2) was prepared as heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine analogs via a one-pot, multi-component reaction involving substituted benzaldehydes, malononitrile, dimethylaniline and dimethylacetylene dicarboxylate with good to excellent product yields (83 to 97%). The notable benefits of this facile approach was the use of ethanol as solvent and products were obtained in excellent yields with shorter reaction times. Catalyst was fully reusable with minor loss of activity up to six cycles. While, P-XRD, TEM and SEM anal. performances were revealed for the structural interpretation of Cs2O/ZrO2, the identity of products were established and confirmed by various spectral (1H NMR, 13C NMR, FT-IR and HRMS) techniques.
Journal of Applicable Chemistry (Lumami, India) published new progress about Benzaldehydes Role: RCT (Reactant), RACT (Reactant or Reagent). 86-51-1 belongs to class isoquinoline, name is 2,3-Dimethoxybenzaldehyde, and the molecular formula is C9H10O3, Category: isoquinoline.
