Sagadevan, Arunachalam published the artcileCopper Photoredox Catalyzed A3′ Coupling of Arylamines, Terminal Alkynes, and Alcohols through a Hydrogen Atom Transfer Process, Category: isoquinoline, the main research area is propargylamine preparation; alkylaniline terminal alkyne alc three component coupling; hydrogen atom transfer photoredox copper catalyst; amines; copper; photochemistry; radicals; synthetic methods.
The first successful example of the three-component coupling of N-alkylanilines, terminal alkynes, and alcs. was achieved at room temperature by a visible-light-mediated copper-catalyzed photoredox hydrogen-atom transfer process. This method allows preparation of propargylamines I (R1 = H, 4-Me, 3-I, etc.; R2 = Me, n-Bu, Bn, etc.; R3 = C6H5, 3-MeC6H4, 3-thienyl, etc.; R4 = H, Me, c-Pr, etc.) through uniquely selective α-C-H bond activation of unactivated alkylalcs. Preliminary studies indicate that formation of α-oxy radical is operative. This approach facilitates rapid access to biol. important propargylamines from methanol as an abundant feedstock.
Angewandte Chemie, International Edition published new progress about Alcohols Role: RCT (Reactant), RACT (Reactant or Reagent). 5961-59-1 belongs to class isoquinoline, name is 4-Methoxy-N-methylaniline, and the molecular formula is C8H11NO, Category: isoquinoline.
