The purpose of the work was to study the physico-chem. properties of new 5-(2-fluorophenyl)-4-[(aryl)methyleneamino]-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiols I [R1 = 2-F, 3-F; R2 = 4-FC6H4, 3-pyridyl, 2,4-di-MeC6H3, etc.] and some products of their reduction, 5-(3-fluorophenyl)-4-[(aryl)methylamino]-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiols II [R1 = 3-F]. As the starting compounds, 5-(2-fluorophenyl)-4-amino-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol and 5-(3-fluorophenyl)-4-amino-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol were used.
