The reaction of an aromatic heterocycle with a proton is called a protonation. One of articles about this theory is 《Report on weed control in gladiolus for 1965》. Authors are Butterfield, Norman W..The article about the compound:2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-olcas:1970-40-7,SMILESS:OC1=C(Cl)C(Cl)=NC=C1Cl).Category: isoquinoline. Through the article, more information about this compound (cas:1970-40-7) is conveyed.
Excellent control of weeds was secured with Niagara Chem. Co. NIA 11093 80% wettable powder (WP) (1 lb.), Daxtron M-2901 (1lb.), Union Carbide UC 22463 emulsifiable concentrate (6 lb.), linuron 50% WP (3 lb.), Tordon 22K (2 lb.), Caparol 80% WP (2 lb.), diuron (1.5 lb.), and Zytron (6 lb.) plus dinitro herbicide M-2880 (3 lb. active/acre). Good results were secured with Casoron (4 lb.) and several exptl. herbicides and fair results with Caparol, Treflan, and Casoron. The effectiveness of some of these latter herbicides might he improved by changes in amount or method of application. Both preemergent and later use of herbicides is discussed. Soil must be “”settled”” before effective application can be made.
The article 《Report on weed control in gladiolus for 1965》 also mentions many details about this compound(1970-40-7)Category: isoquinoline, you can pay attention to it, because details determine success or failure
