Structural analogs of a promising antituberculous agent, dihydro[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-6-carboxylates I [R = Me, OEt, NH2, i-BuO, OBn; R1 = 2-thienyl, 3-thienyl, 2-O2NC6H4, 4-CO2HC6H4, 2,3-di-MeOC6H4] and Et 6-methyl-4-(thiophen-2-yl)-4,7-dihydro-2H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine-5-carboxylate were synthesized by three-component condensations of various aromatic or hetarom. aldehydes with several β-dicarbonyl compounds (CH acids) and 1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-amine or 1H-pyrazol-5-amine. The obtained compounds were evaluated for tuberculostatic activity and structure-activity relations were analyzed. Among the synthesized compounds, compound I [R = OEt; R1 = 2-O2NC6H4] proved to be most promising compound
