Cheng, Lin-Chieh published the artcileSynthesis of Quinolinium Salts from N-Substituted Anilines, Aldehydes, Alkynes, and Acids: Theoretical Understanding of the Mechanism and Regioselectivity, Recommanded Product: 4-Methoxy-N-methylaniline, the main research area is aniline aldehyde alkyne acid multicomponent regioselective coupling mechanism DFT; quinolinium salt preparation.
Secondary anilines were first utilized in the four-component coupling of aniline, aldehyde, alkyne, and acid to synthesize a variety of N-substituted quinolinium salts, e.g., I. This method was carried out under mild reaction conditions and exhibited excellent chemo- and regioselectivities. DFT calculation was performed to analyze the cyclization step, where the interaction/distortion model provided better insight into the singular selectivity of terminal/internal alkynes in reaction.
European Journal of Organic Chemistry published new progress about Acids Role: RGT (Reagent), RACT (Reactant or Reagent). 5961-59-1 belongs to class isoquinoline, name is 4-Methoxy-N-methylaniline, and the molecular formula is C8H11NO, Recommanded Product: 4-Methoxy-N-methylaniline.
