Dabholkar, Vijay V.’s team published research in Heterocyclic Letters in 2019 | CAS: 104-01-8

Heterocyclic Letters published new progress about Antibacterial agents. 104-01-8 belongs to class isoquinoline, name is 4-Methoxyphenylacetic acid, and the molecular formula is C9H10O3, SDS of cas: 104-01-8.

Dabholkar, Vijay V. published the artcileOne pot synthesis and biological evaluation of novel fused thiadiazolo-pyrimidine derivatives, SDS of cas: 104-01-8, the main research area is thiadiazolopyrimidine preparation antifungal antibacterial activity; malononitrile aryl aldehyde amino benzyl thiadiazole heterocyclization.

One pot synthesis of thiadiazolopyrimidinecarbonitriles I (R = 2-MeC6H4, 4-MeOC6H4, 4-ClC6H4, 2,4-Cl2C6H3, Ph; R1 = H, Cl, OMe) was achieved by the reaction of 5-(arylmethyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-amines, aromatic aldehydes 4-R1C6H4CHO (R1 = H, Cl, OMe), and malononitrile. The contents were refluxed in presence of triethylamine as a catalyst and ethanol as a solvent. Selected I were screened for antimicrobial activity against the Gram-neg. bacteria E. coli and P. aeruginosa and the Gram-pos. bacteria S. aureus, and C. diphtheriae.
