Recommanded Product: 2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-ol. The reaction of aromatic heterocyclic molecules with protons is called protonation. Aromatic heterocycles are more basic than benzene due to the participation of heteroatoms. Compound: 2,3,5-Trichloropyridin-4-ol, is researched, Molecular C5H2Cl3NO, CAS is 1970-40-7, about Redvine growth and control. Author is Baker, R. S..
Redvine (Brunnichia cirrhosa) was established as a spaced planting in a silt loam soil. Fourteen months after the seedlings had been transplanted in the field, the roots had reached a depth of 1.5 m. The cumulative length of all roots averaged 28 m/plant. The average dry weight, of roots was 62 g and of shoots 247 g/plant. Herbicide application on redvine 2 or 3 yr after transplanting gave excellent control with dicamba [1918-00-9] and picloram [1918-02-1]. Dicamba required a rate of 4.5 kg/ha for satisfactory redvine control, which resulted in hazardous soil residues for cotton and soybeans. Picloram at 1.1 kg/ha resulted in soil residue which severely injured cotton and soybeans. Picloram at the same rate, but combined in a tank mix with 2,4-D [94-75-7] at 2.2 kg/ha gave nearly as good redvine control, but resulted in relatively little crop injury in the bioassay test 1 yr after treatment.
